EIFFEL TABLE

Every so often Caviar20 finds a piece that, while being unattributed, perfectly captures our aesthetic ideal. This table is simple, sculptural and unique. Its design alludes to several 20th century design icons, (such as the Eamses’ Eiffel Tower base for their 1948 molded plastic chairs and Tom Dixon’s Pylon Chair, 1992) yet is derivative of neither.  We can’t resist items with a strong geometric design but are simultaneously practical and perfect for daily life. Ideal for a breakfast nook, patio or entry way. Or perfect solo to show off your appreciation for good design.

Breakfast not included, but meant to show scale.

Hand-shaped, bent and welded steel wire rod with matte black finish and glass top.

Excellent condition. USA, circa 1950’s.
