His later work both loosened up and became more structured as he experimented with composition and more specific or limited palettes. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eRiopelle would also embrace a range of media, including works on paper and prints.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003eThis work is an anomaly in the artist's print oeuvre, namely due to its size. \u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eIn the late 1960s, print studios were ambitious, but did not have the technical means to print oversized works. In order to create this lithograph on a single sheet, the paper was folded, and each half was printed from a separate plate.
