Art Toronto 2021

In 2011, Caviar20 showed at Art Toronto for the 1st time. We were helping the Indigenous artist Kent Monkman with a large scale installation, providing furniture, props and some styling. We somehow managed to convince the fair to give us a small booth in exchange for our services – they gave us an "annex," a funny piece of real estate with 2 walls. This first fair was a great success and most people welcomed our eclectic mix of art and design.

Ten years later, we are excited (and a bit sentimental) to be back. Toronto is slowly opening up and folks are excited to see art and fellow art lovers IRL. We are especially looking forward to seeing all of our clients, colleagues, collaborators, and friends this weekend.

What is especially meaningful (and coincidental) is that we are showing some of the same artists we showed in 2011 including Charles Pachter and General Idea. It is simultaneously very rewarding to be offering works by Canadian art heroes such as Edward Burtynsky and Joanne Tod.

Thank you to everyone who has either consigned or purchased artwork at Art Toronto over the past decade!
