Barbara Kruger

Barbara Kruger is one of the world's most provocative, distinctive and original artists. Her iconic body of work is instantly recognizable and can be found in every major museum's collection around the world.

Best known for her hybridized mass-media and text collages, Kruger began her career in the advertising world. She would change professional directions shortly after, dedicating herself to art making with an emphasis on cultural critique.
